Friday Evening Make-Up Session

By Sharmeet Kaur

No plans for your Friday night? Running away from the hustles and bustles of the city life? Feeling a little experimental? Let me share with you what I went through during such boring nights.

Helping out a friend of mine with her daily make-up tutorials and trying out some new colors to my face has made my night a little bit livelier.

Make-up set sponsored by Ida Offenhauser Make-up

Ida Offenhauser Makeup is located at Kandahar Street, Singapore, providing us with the latest make-up updates and styles that we can pull off from the regular basics to the most outrageous looks.

They are one of the newest Singapore’s very own make-up brand that was established two years ago, to help young individuals and beauty inspired individuals who have a passion for fashion. Providing classes and make-up services are one of their specialties.

With that, let me just take you through the tutorial session.

  With contouring completed

Contouring blended-in with loose powder

Applying the countering and blending it out with loose powder after which was one way to hide the guideline painted on the face. This has helped the make-up artist to identify the features and work from there, at the same time, enhancing the features of the model’s face such as the temples, nose, cheek bones, as well as the chin area. Giving it a glow and highlight with a 3D effect to it.

Finishing off with a compatible skin tone compact powder as well as a done up with the eyes and red lip stain, all with the countering being hidden underneath.

Working on the eyes included a base color for the eye shadow as well as brown glitter highlights on top of it. With that, a layer of eye liner was put on, dragging all the way to the sides to draw a pointy effect, continuing to the lower eye lid- darkening and sharpening the entire eye area.

The color red was chosen for the lips to add color and live to the face, or else looking rather nude. This also gives a rather fierce look to the model’s face. The eyebrows were also lightly shaded to make it look slightly thicker and darker.

With that, give it a try guys ! Who knows it might work just as well for you too !
& don't forget to leave your comments behind !

Enjoy your weekends !
